Your success  in this industry is hampered by the two C’s, Competition and Clients. There is too much of one and not nearly enough of the other. However, the biggest speed bump of all is sameness.

 

Let me ask you a question. Does it seem to you everyone in this industry is doing the same thing? Everyone’s newsletters look the same. Everyone’s websites are starting to look the same. Everyone sends out the same market information and many times the same Birthday and Holiday greetings. Everyone is waiting for the phone to ring, or the lead generating service to kick in or maybe a repeat client will call.  

 

Now, if I want to stand out from my competition, the last thing I want to do is resemble my competition, correct?  People buy when they are ready to buy - not when we need to sell.  And that is why making potential clients aware of you long before they consciously realize they need you, is so important.
